the aim of „métamorphose“ is to offer a voyage to the listener. the pieces really often start quite dark and then the mood turns into something intimate to catch the audience from the deeper spheres. sometimes it goes the other way as well: the track starts in a happy way and turns into a deeper vibe. by doing so the listener should notice his own feelings and try to completely let himself go. further he should be aware of his emotions: on the one hand the happy and melancholic and on the other hand the dark and rather monotonous side. in addition to the musical part to each track there is a specific artwork which was made while listening to the tracks and is based on the emotional expressions which were triggered by the sounds.

full dose is a brand new label operating from glasgow, and for it’s first 12 inch has hired the inimitable talents of none other that rotterdam’s ian martin, under his akhiezer alias. most of you will know martin from his various albums and 12 inches over the years for some of the underground’s most esteemed labels: bunker / panzerkreuz, further, new york haunted & legowelt’s strange life to name a few. for the foch reflection ep, martin delves into his trunk of electronic curiosities to take us on a trip of ambient textures, dark synth work, creeping rhythms and out-there techno / electro jams that are at once arresting and unique!

the second chapter of the startup label series starts with the dreamy * oaas*. its gravitating ambient body music picks up right where startup label 1 left off. the sparkling dust of quarry_s has settled, and mutates into a liquid morphing bass drizzle. moving on to ‘found_weaver’ the hazy synths find a more rhythmical form accompanied by a staccato groove. when the record is flipped a new world gets exposed on the track * wolf*. a more consistent and articulate track with a killer groove. startup label 2 explores the musical map of clubland travelling further than the dance floor, not afraid of venturing behind the * here be dragons* signpost.

tt/dok is kenton slash demons third ep on future classic. the two track ep is set to hold down the same amount of anticipation and support of precious offerings of the danish duo. this release affirms again the strength of kenton slash demons organic and futuristic sound, and their obvious skills take their productions further than the typical frame and dramaturgy of a club track. they want to create soundtracks for clubs as well as music that you can listen to on your home stereo, thus blurring the space between the public and private experience. the vinyl release includes a download code.
